Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company focused on providing managed services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios. It is also a top producer of live multicamera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate broadcast productions. BMG has operations in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.

BMG is looking for a Business News Digital Producer to join its team in Chicago. This role is at a client site, is ideal for a live broadcast-obsessed creator, and comes with the opportunity to work on live financial news content. The ideal candidate must have an affinity for live production, a love of all things trending news and a deep understanding of content creation for digital and social platforms. This position will work with clients to understand their needs and objectives for each project, then take the lead in producing the project, including audio and video editing and graphic design and creation. 

Essential Duties:

•  Report onsite to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producer
•  Oversee development of VOD and Social Media Content
•  Research, conceptualize, pitch, and create original social video content
•  Strong news-writing skills, with compelling & buzz-worthy headlines
•        Demonstrated excellence in growing engagement and providing interactive content
•  Layout and edit vertical stories for animations, long-form editorial, and video content for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Instagram Reels
•        Evaluate latest website & social media trends, build on daily and long-term content growth 

Requirements:

•  Candidate must have at least 3-4 years of experience in digital content development and editing.
•        Ability to react quickly & accurately to post breaking news content to website, digital platforms.
•        Working knowledge of multimedia explainers, infographics, audience engagement.
•  Experience creating short-form, impactful social videos for a major brand.
•  A deep understanding of creating videos for digital platforms and storytelling for social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, Facebook, X (Twitter) and others.
•  Experience in live streaming and event production
•  The ability to take on assignments/projects and follow through until completion is critical.
•  Can work as a collaborative team player.
•        Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop
