Content Strategist

The Content Strategist brings their B2B and editorial experience, writing and editing talents, strategic eye and creativity to diverse content projects that positively impact our clients in public safety (law enforcement, fire service, 911 and EMS). The Content Strategist will report and research industry-related topics to develop and deliver a wide variety of compelling content types for our clients. This includes articles, ebooks, press releases, web content, blogs, email, white papers, case studies, video scripts, social posts and ad copywriting. The role requires some experience creating, executing and optimizing paid and/or organic media campaigns.

Working in collaboration with Account Managers/Account Directors, the Content Strategist helps to determine the direction of content-focused campaigns while also executing those campaigns and optimizing them as needed. He/she/they also works with internal designers and digital marketing experts to best serve clients and the health of our business.

The role entails regular communication with clients to deeply understand their needs and becoming an expert in their services/products, strategic marketing goals, messaging, tone and brand. It may include presenting to clients as well. The Content Strategist should be a consummate listener and rapport-builder both with clients and with his/her/their colleagues.

Ideally, the Content Strategist has experience in both editorial/journalistic and marketing content and is skilled at bringing a curious and creative mindset to creating all kinds of content. Experience in public safety or a related industry is preferred but not required as long as you have a sincere interest in learning about what we do and those we serve.
