Job Description

Palmer Group needs an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a contract-to-hire assignment. You will be designing heavy-duty vehicle components that are functional, reliable, and cost-effective. If this sounds like the role for you, apply today to be considered!

Responsibilities:

Guide and mentor entry-level engineers, designers, or technicians collaborating on a shared project
Conduct engineering analyses, design or redesign components, and develop them for both existing and new vehicles
Maintain clear communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and external resources regarding technical matters
Provide support for integrating and executing vehicle and component designs
Enforce the appropriate use of engineering criteria and drawing standards
Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
Oversee the preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering
3+ years of experience

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
