We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as an In-House Bookkeeper/Accountant. Job Description:
As our In-House Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing our accounting systems. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This includes but is not limited to bookkeeping, data entry, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), financial reporting, and other related tasks typical of a bookkeeping role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize your expertise in QuickBooks to oversee the seamless integration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
2. Systemize and optimize our accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
3. Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and managing financial transactions.
4. Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
5. Generate regular financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial processes with business objectives.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance, proactively recommending improvements and implementing changes as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
3. Expertise in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential.
4. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
