Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer - our client in the Cincinnati Metro area is hiring for this role. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience.

Details:

• NX CAD/CAM (Unigraphics) experience required

• Able to design and develop part-holding tooling

• Able to monitor the first piece through the NPI process

• Develop, evaluate, and improve current manufacturing methodologies

• Lead tool crib inventories

• Lead cutting tool assembly and fixture documentation

• Develop machining processes to improve cycle time and component quality

• Solve CAM programs and G code through the use of Vericut

• Must be able to collaborate with other employees and teams

• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate problems and improve product quality

• Provide vital documentation of manufacturing processes involved in production with setup sheets, process documentation, and other shop floor control documentation

• Handle the manufacturing change process
