After School Substitute Teacher Key Roles:
- Implement program curriculum geared towards the needs of children
- Create a safe, caring, and engaging environment and be actively involved with children
- Serve as a role model to the children in the group through appearance and actions
- Assist students with homework
- Supervise students inside and on the playground
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Follow instructions provided by the site director
Requirements:
- Must have completed 60+ college credit hours
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Child care related education background is preferred
- Technology literacy and ability to learn new programs
- Ability to motivate and engage children and manage behavioral challenges
Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday, must be available 2:00 PM-6:00/6:30 PM
Compensation based on education/certification: $45-$60 per day
