FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Full Time
Position Overview: This person will possess strong leadership and supervising skills to help in the efficiency and organization of the cutting room.
Essential Job Functions:

Ensure the safety of cutting department employees, fill in as Supervisor when Area Manager is out.
Assists with marker organization, inventory, preventative maintenance, and material handling.
Assist in coordination of flow and scheduling between cutting and sewing production departments to ensure optimum efficiency, delivery attainment, and costs.
Become fully cross-trained in all areas of the department to be an effective working team leader.
Assist in leading the team in making sure there is coordination between the warehouse and cutting room team including checking, reporting and consuming inventory.
Provide reporting to leadership when necessary.

Training: Provided on the job and supplemented with external seminars/classes.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred. Prior leadership experience a plus.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and be mobile for the duration of the work day
