General Summary:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you'll be at the helm of our sales department, leading a team of dedicated professionals to drive revenue growth and achieve strategic objectives. You will be responsible for setting sales targets, coaching and mentoring team members, and analyzing sales data to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a strong ability to inspire and motivate others.
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Location: In-Office, 5 days per week (Irvine, CA)
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $120,000 depending on experience + performance-based bonuses
Essential Duties:
Oversee the activity of sales department and monitors sales staff performance
Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
Set quotas and goals for sales staff, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met
Assess current departmental processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
Oversee and offer guidance to the Sales Support Manager and Team Captains
Continually mentor sales employees as needed
Conduct training sessions for both newly hired and regular, full-time sales employees
Convene with Sales Trainer to identify which sales employees are in need of ongoing training to improve performance
Provide support to the Sales Support Manager and Team Captains to promote leadership qualities
Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to help build a sales culture that is aligned with company values
Acquire appropriate staff by interviewing and selecting potential sales employees
Monitor attendance and work activity of sales employees, reports related concerns to the Human Resources Department as needed
Reviews and approves timekeeping records of direct reports
Counsel and discipline employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Collaborates with Alleviate affiliates to increase sales and create additional revenue streams
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships with Alleviate affiliates
Attend company meetings to inform about department sales and coordinate work activities with other departments
Prepare sales reports for upper management as requested
Knowledge and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration preferred
- Knowledge of debt settlement required
- 5+ years’ experience in sales management
Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
