Outside Sales Representative
- Full-Time
The outside sales position handles both sales and customer service. An outside sales representative communicates daily with customers, vendors, and inside sales to make sure that opportunities are serviced in a timely matter.
Job duties include:
• Provide daily support to customers both in-person and remotely
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Develop new and existing customer accounts
• Introduce new products to customers and provide recurring support on existing products
• Provide excellent customer service including assessing customer needs, providing recommendations/solutions, and maintaining open communication
• Identify revenue opportunities in collaboration with inside sales representatives
• Always expand product knowledge to better assist customers
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers
• Good computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to manage and prioritize numerous opportunities
• Great attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage work schedule effectively
• Experience in the PVF, Plumbing, or Construction field
• Ability to maintain professional conduct and interact effectively with all employees and customers
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, other language skills are a plus
• High School diploma required
Preferred Qualifications
• At least 5 years experience selling in an outside sales environment
• Experience using ERP system to enter and track opportunities (especially Epicor Prophet21)
