We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer or Draftsman to become part of our growing team! We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer or entry level CAD operator to design automated sheet metal fabrication systems and work with assembly personnel to implement designs. The ideal candidate would have a background in automated machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, common machining practices, and die design. A degreed mechanical engineer is a plus but not required. Pay based on experience. Full benefits package available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed drawings of automated machinery using Solidworks
- Develop hydraulic & pneumatic schematics for machines
- Design form and punch press / die assemblies
- Coordinate with machine shop and assemblers to ensure design integrity and efficiency
- Develop bill of materials and assist in sourcing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiar with sheet metal fabrication and forming
- Familiar with machine designs and diagrams
- Familiar with CAD or Solidworks software
