Job Description

 

Busy office environment is seeking a data entry specialist to manage records. The successful candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, strive in a high-paced environment, and possess a superior sense of organization. No insurance experience is necessary to fulfill this role, but computer literacy is absolutely required. Applicants without evident up-to-date computer knowledge will not be considered.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Inputting paperwork/documents into computer-based filing system with quick turnaround time
  • Maintaining organization of existing client folders; keep uniformity of the filing system
  • Retrieve documents from carrier databases to update files as needed
  • Auditing client folders for clerical errors/discrepancies/missing pieces of information
  • Assist in research/data retrieval for all staff
  • Process daily mail; send out relevant documents to clients and disburse mail to the correct staff member
  • Provide backup administrative support
  • Troubleshoot and solve minor computer/technology issues
