We are looking for a Payroll Analyst! Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Payroll Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Responsibilities:

· Audit timesheets and interact with supervisors, as required, to verify data and resolve discrepancies.

· Enter payroll data into spreadsheets for loading into software.

· Correspond with employees, via email and telephone, regarding payroll issues.

· Process special items for (but not limited to): child support, moving expenses, expense reimbursements, bonuses, and terminations, as requested.

· Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment.

· Process and review pre- and post-payroll audit reports and resolve any payroll discrepancies.

· Meet all established deadlines for bi-weekly payroll and other assigned duties and projects.

· Review and prepare journal entries at month-end.

· Act as back-up for payroll manager, as needed.

· Carry out other duties within the scope and purpose of the job.

Job Requirements:

· A minimum of 2-plus years of payroll experience is required.
