Job Description:
- This position is for an established and productive professional individual contributor in Risk Consulting with demonstrated experience in defining and deploying risk strategies and programs for clients.
- The person understands the big picture and clearly articulating point of view with rationale through logical written and verbal communications.
- This position begins to develops an area of expertise "major", becoming 'go-to' resource for the client on specific topics.
***The requirement*** is looking for contractors with workers comp experience in the mid-west states.
Responsibilities Include:
• Provides research, analysis and recommendations relative to insurance coverage for clients facing complex liabilities.
• Prepares communications to insurers to provide notice and tender of claims and facilitates communications regarding the claim between the policyholder and its insurers.
• Determines the adequacy of cost share agreements and evaluate buyout offers.
• Negotiates the resolution of insurance coverage and loss allocation issues on behalf of clients.
• Complies with company policy and procedures for maintaining correspondence, timekeeping, expense reporting and billing.

• Directs analysis of client needs, develops project outlines, and recommends and implements suitable approaches or options to consider.
• Uses facilitative and diagnostic skills to assist clients in the articulation of complex problems.
• Actively uncovers concerns or issues that may be unclear to the client.
• Develops the project requirements and work plans within a practice or technical area.
• Matches products and services in his/her own specialty to client’s key needs.
• Develops or uses systems to organize and track information.
• Enhances the creativity and effectiveness of materials that reflect an understanding of more complex client, project and technical issues.

Must Have:
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience at an insurer, law firm, or in corporate risk management handling claims
• Experience in long tail and emerging coverage issues with General Liability/Casualty claims
• Handled large complex claims and able to run their own project
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems, Microsoft Office Products especially Word and Excel, as well as relevant use of Internet.
Proficient in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
