Inside Sales Assistant

F&C Distributors, Inc., the Midwest’s largest distributor of Luxury Fireplace and BBQ Products, is looking for an Inside Sales Assistant to join our team. Our customers range from independent businesses to multi-location hearth and outdoor living dealers.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday

What you'll do:

• Assist Sales Team with warranty, special order and shipment updates.
• Assist in new product launch.
• Handle phone calls accurately and quickly.
• Create orders in QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Manage customer expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you can expect:

• This position requires you to sit at a desk 7 to 8 hours a day, taking incoming calls and or managing off phone work.
• Significant daily interaction with customers, other internal team members and members of the sales team.
• Work is performed in an office environment with a moderate noise level and regular distractions.
• Regular use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.

What you already have:

• Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer skills and phone etiquette are necessary. Min of 40 wpm.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Keeping a positive attitude under stressful situations is a must.
• High energy level and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual.
• Possess a strong work ethic, team player mentality and customer service driven.
• At least 3 years customer service experience, preferably in a call center setting. Inside sales experience a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
