Graphic Designer

We are looking for an in-house Graphic Designer. This position requires graphic design responsibilities as well as sign and vehicle wrap graphic production. The successful candidate should under how brand campaigns work, especially in the commercial business sector, to support our clients. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new client or project. If you are solely a graphic designer without a sign production or vehicle graphics background, please do not apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be personally responsible for:

• Proven graphic designing experience vehicle graphics.
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations and company branding/logos.
• Take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc. Highly proficient in all design aspects and Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related visual concepts. Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval. A matter of a fact approach when ideas or designs are rejected.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Attention to detail with the confidence to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues.
• Reliable, self-motivated and open-minded with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadline as well as managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, follow-up and time management skills
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Examples of Graphic Designer responsibilities

• Work simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current client workload

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Extensive experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; specifically, with customer layouts.
• Graphic Design/Sign production or vehicle graphics background: 3 years and or 3+ years in professional commercial design
• Exceptional creativity, personable, originality and innovation
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong Computer skills and quick learning on the administration of our Project management software, Sign Tracker and sales funnel.
• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications & Design
