Job Summary: The Validation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and carrying out validation processes and procedures for projects related to software and hardware functionality.
Supervisory Responsibility:

Responsibilities/Duties:
Assist in clerical duties pertaining to data entry and/or Research and Development
Validation in the field for new vehicles and new functions being implemented.
Comparative analysis between competitors and internal abilities to identify potential improvement opportunities. (Benchmarking)
Maintaining and carrying out validation processes and procedures for internal projects and software releases.
Beta testing of all tool platforms with comprehensive reports detailing bugs found.
Keeping testing materials well organized and available for use by various departments including tech-support to verify customer issues and to facilitate follow up on reported issues in a timely manner.
Answer Technical Support questions when needed.
Keep documentation on all of the above.
Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or G.E.D
Able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions accurately
Excellent time management skills
Technical and mechanical skills
Fast learner
Ability to learn skills on the job
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of computer languages used within database.
Understanding of database design and construction.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Required to conduct outdoor testing of TPMS equipment for extended periods, typically lasting several hours at a time.
