Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tent Installer Lead to join our dynamic team. As a lead, you will oversee and participate in the installation of various types of tents, including pole tents, frame tents, and high peak tents, ensuring each project is completed efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses both the technical skills in tent installation and the leadership qualities necessary to manage a team. The position requires a commitment to long hours, with early mornings and potentially late evenings during peak periods. This role is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership position within our team, guiding projects from conception to completion, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of tent installers, coordinating tasks and managing schedules to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

• Install various types of tents, including pole tents, frame tents, and high peak tents, according to safety standards and best practices.

• Train new team members on installation techniques, safety protocols, and company standards.

• Conduct site inspections and planning before installations to identify potential challenges and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available.

• Maintain high levels of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

• Manage inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring all items are in good working order and available for projects.

• Handle logistics, including transportation of materials to and from project sites, requiring a valid driver's license.

• Work flexibly, with willingness to put in long hours, start early in the morning, and work late during peak seasons to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in tent installation with a strong understanding of different tent types and their installation requirements.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to handle unforeseen challenges.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and team members professionally.

• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work long hours, including early mornings and late evenings, particularly during busy periods.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a leadership role within the tent installation industry.

Compensation:

• $900 to $1,400 weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
