Summary:
Responsible for ensuring maximum customer service and satisfaction by orchestrating through the employees, production of quality food and high standards of service in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures and Gaming regulations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures in the venue are in accordance with the Company's expectations.
- Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations; as well as all federal, state and local applicable laws.
- Responsible for the evaluating and training of the employees ensuring staffs compliance with all customer service standards.
- Ensures venue floor operations are running in a smooth, efficient manner to ensure customers satisfaction.
- Responsible for listening to, evaluating and assuring control of customers' grievances.
- Monitors job performances of all the employees and provides feedback on some to aid the employees in developing and enhancing skills.
- Confers with Food & Beverage Manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
- Responsible for the supervision and training of Beverage Servers, Bartenders, wait staff and bar backs on an assigned shift.
- Ensures the smooth and efficient service throughout all Food & Beverage facilities in the Casino.
- Handles employee relation issues as needed after conferring with Food & Beverage Manager
- Supervises and reports to management all employee call-ins and scheduling conflicts to ensure a cost effective staffing level.
- Knowledge of all State alcohol and gaming regulations and ensures adherence.
- Make recommendations and suggestions and hire, suspend, transfer, discipline and terminate after conferring with Food & Beverage Manager.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Promotes positive customer relations.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality
- Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
- Responsibilities include training employees, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Fill in for F&B Cashiers for breaks, lunch, absences and PTO as needed.
- Performed additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
- Operate as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED and/or two to four years beverage serving experience preferred. Gaming experience preferred.
License/Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a Wyandotte Nation Gaming license.
Special Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work as directed by your Manager, which may result in being scheduled anytime during a 24 hour period, 365 days a year.
- Thorough knowledge of ABC regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to hear and talk.

Physical:
- Must be able to push and lift weight up to 25 pounds.

- Specific vision abilities are close, distance, peripheral vision; depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to climb 80 stairs.
Environmental Demands:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.
- Must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels, secondary smoke and blinking lights.
