About the Role:
A Cashier at Brand Avenue is responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role involves handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or electronic scanners.
Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt, and helpful service.
Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking bags, cleaning conveyor belts, and sanitizing surfaces.
Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate reconciliation.
Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store appearance as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, customer service, and safety protocols.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash register systems.
