Part-Time Ambassador Services Coordinator
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is looking for an Ambassador Services Coordinator to help us uniform both BGW and WCUSA Ambassadors. An ideal candidate would possess proficient sewing skills, with the ability to hem pants and repair uniform items when necessary. Candidates will split their time between sewing and working at the counter.
What you get to do:
As an Ambassador Services Coordinator, you will support the Human Resources department by welcoming our new hires and engaging current Ambassadors by delivering exceptional service that meets and exceeds their expectations. You will:
  • Enthusiastically greet and interact with all Ambassadors and their guests
  • Answer questions and resolve issues politely and professionally
  • Assist new and current Ambassadors with uniform requests, including orders submitted online
  • Measure and fit uniforms according to Ambassador's needs
  • Work under time constraints to meet reasonable demands of Ambassadors and/or operation of the parks
  • Accept deliveries, update stock levels and uniform information in inventory tracking database
  • Hem pants and repair uniform items when necessary, working with sewing machines and sewing by hand when necessary
  • Launder, fold and sort uniform pieces by size
  • Operate a register, and accurately process credit/debit only transactions
  • Keep all assigned areas clean and organized
  • Practice safe work habits including the use of ladders and proper lifting techniques
  • Other duties assigned by management

What it takes to succeed:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking
  • Understand basic computer programs (outlook, excel, database programs)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with people from a diversity of backgrounds
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds several times throughout a scheduled shift, this includes overhead lifting/reaching
  • Climb ladders and stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to perform varied duties
