About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Marketing and Communications team at Evergreen Goodwill for an 18 month temporary engagement through the end of December 2023. 50% of this role would be driving the planning and execution of an organizational-wide initiative to celebrate Evergreen Goodwill's 100 Year Anniversary. The other 50% would be managing other projects including but not limited to advertising campaigns, website updates, communications collateral, events etc.


The 100 Year Anniversary will include a celebratory event, campaign and other activities across the organization with the goal of connecting our audiences more deeply to the mission, building excitement about the future of Evergreen Goodwill and raising philanthropic donations.


The position will ensure the successful and timely implementation of campaigns and projects in coordination with internal staff, agencies and partners.


Time Commitment: September 2022 - December 2023


Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Oversees 100 Year Anniversary strategic planning, development of timeline and implementation of activities in coordination with staff, agencies, contractors and vendors.
  • Responsible for project management including communication and ensuring project tasks and deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
  • Facilitates cross-functional working groups to drive outcomes.
  • Manages campaign progress, coordinates stakeholder reviews and discusses client needs across various departments.
  • Manages and leads communications between all stakeholders.
  • Tracks and monitors project progress and results.
  • Collaborates with Evergreen Goodwill's Marketing & Communication and Philanthropy teams to align and integrate strategy and timelines.
  • Demonstrates commitment to advancing Evergreen Goodwill's mission and values in brand communications and interactions with staff and community partners.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience and ability to lead teams of diverse stakeholders and manage processes
  • Working knowledge of marketing, event planning, creative and/or advertising processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manager multiple stakeholder groups and vendor partners toward action.
  • Professional demeanor and willingness to cooperatively participate on a team in a mission-based organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client and employee information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience managing budgets of up to $500k
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage time effectively to solve problems, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and external partners.
  • Experience working with diverse groups and nonprofits with multiple community stakeholders.

Education and Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management and event or campaign production.
