About the job Marketing Project Manager
As a Marketing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the flow of marketing projects within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be on managing the project lifecycle, coordinating resources, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Take ownership of assigned marketing projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Workflow Coordination: Oversee the traffic of marketing projects, monitor their progress, and ensure they are on schedule, maintaining up-to-date and accurate information about each project.
  • Task Prioritization: Manage the marketing project list, including fielding requests for new projects and ensuring that priorities align with business objectives.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead the weekly marketing priority meetings, review the upcoming weeks schedule, address new project requests, and resolve any project-related concerns.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the acceptance or rejection of new project requests to stakeholders, providing clear reasoning when necessary.
  • Resource Allocation: Assign resources based on skill sets and availability to ensure that marketing projects are executed efficiently.
  • Feedback Management: Ensure that feedback and approvals are gathered and communicated promptly to keep projects moving forward.
  • Risk Management: Keep the marketing leadership team informed about any projects at risk of missing deadlines and propose solutions to mitigate delays.
  • Project Documentation: Ensure that final projects are properly documented, stored, and communicated to relevant team members.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements, recommend and implement changes to streamline project management and traffic workflows.
  • Special Projects: Handle special projects as assigned, which may include process optimization, technology enhancements, training material development, data entry, and research.
  • Campaign & Event Management: Lead the management of large campaigns and events, from project intake and kick-off to troubleshooting and launch, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Training & Onboarding: Provide training to new team members on internal processes and the use of our project management systems.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing project management or traffic coordination within a marketing department or agency.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey project updates and decisions clearly.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles and advertising practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; experience with project management tools.
