Job description

Marketing Project & Operations Lead

Are you the person who color-codes your calendar?

  • Do you love crossing things off a to-do list?
  • Do your friends tease you because every trip has an itinerary?
  • Does it bother you when meetings don’t have agendas, deadlines slip, or projects don’t have owners?
  • Do you instinctively create spreadsheets, timelines, and checklists before anyone asks?

If you’re smiling right now, keep reading.

At Mispro, we're looking for someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity. You'll be the operational heartbeat, and the air traffic controller, for our marketing team. You'll coordinate projects, keep priorities aligned, manage conferences and client events, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure every moving piece lands exactly where it should. As Mispro continues to grow, so will this role. You'll help shape how our marketing organization operates and have the opportunity to take on increasing ownership, new initiatives, and strategic projects.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll own timelines, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, improve processes, and keep projects moving from kickoff to completion. If you get genuine satisfaction from checking things off your to-do list, building timelines, and helping teams work smarter, you'll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

Own the Work

  • Manage and own high-impact marketing projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Build timelines, assign owners, and keep priorities on track.
  • Run our project management platform (Monday.com).
  • Coordinate multiple projects without losing sight of the details and people will actually follow.
  • Lead project status meetings that end with clear decisions and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned—even when priorities shift.

Keep Marketing Running

  • Improve workflows and build scalable processes.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, HR, vendors, and leadership.
  • Manage budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Organize marketing assets and documentation.
  • Anticipate roadblocks before they become problems.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Coordinate conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and hosted events.
  • Manage logistics, shipping, vendors, and event timelines.
  • Occasionally travel for key events and team meetings.

You’re Probably a Great Fit If…

  • You’re the person everyone depends on to keep projects organized.
  • You genuinely enjoy project management.
  • You believe every project deserves a timeline.
  • You love creating order from chaos.
  • You naturally follow up without being reminded.
  • You notice the small details others miss.
  • You enjoy working behind the scenes to help others succeed.
  • You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
  • You aren’t afraid to politely chase someone for a deliverable.

What We’re Looking For

We're less concerned with where you've worked and more interested in how you work. You might be a great fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, event coordination, executive support, account management, or another role where organization and execution were critical to success.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using project management software such as Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, or similar tools.
  • The confidence to coordinate across teams, follow up with stakeholders, and keep projects moving forward.

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Experience supporting a marketing team.
  • Experience planning conferences, events, or sponsorships.
  • Experience in biotech, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.

One More Thing...

This is a brand-new role.

We've reached a point where our marketing team needs someone whose superpower is organization, project management, and operational excellence. That's why we're hiring.

Some processes are already in place. Others are still taking shape. You'll have structure where it makes sense, but you'll also have the opportunity to help us build better systems, refine workflows, and establish new ways of working as our team continues to grow.

If you're looking for a role where every process is already documented and every answer lives in a playbook, this probably isn't the right fit.

But if you enjoy building structure, creating clarity, improving processes, and leaving things better than you found them, you'll have the chance to make a real impact here.

We're looking for someone who sees that as exciting — not overwhelming.

Location & Travel

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in the Greater Boston or San Diego areas to support occasional in-person meetings and events.

Travel is at least 15% of the position and primarily tied to conferences and company events.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $85K-$95K depending on experience, skills, and qualifications, plus annual bonus potential based on individual and company performance.

At Mispro, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That's why we offer a competitive compensation package and invest in benefits that support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance.

Our benefits include:

  • Generous employer contributions toward medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match up to a certain %.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options
  • Company-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage for employees.
  • Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick time
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Professional development and learning opportunities
  • Employee referral bonus program

We're committed to creating an environment where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work—both professionally and personally.

This role is perfect for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from helping teams do their best work. If you’re energized by organization, love solving logistical puzzles, and find joy in making complex projects look effortless, we’d love to hear from you.
