Summary

As a Marketing Project Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful and smooth execution of marketing campaigns within Go-To-Market plans.  You'll work closely with Marketing Managers to coordinate various aspects of marketing projects, from planning to implementation.

Responsibilities

 Project Coordination:

           Facilitates various functions within marketing systems for alignment on Go-To-Market plans (such as marketing databases, change request forms, vendor portals)

           Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and requirements needed for execution

           Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule 

           Understanding vendor branding requirements and guidelines for compliance  

           Participates in reoccurring touchpoints with the Marketing Manager for alignment and status updates

           Creates promotional flyers for incentives/SPIFS for internal sales audiences    

         

Tracking/Claiming Marketing Activities:

           Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as creative, events, trade management) to track campaign activities 

           Maintain a well-organized centralized repository for marketing assets, ensuring easy access for team members

           Ensure vendor approved activities are compliant and an acceptable activity type according to vendor claiming guidelines

           Enters marketing plan into vendor portal

           Manages claim rejection resolution and research

           Assist trade management throughout the debit memo lifecycle to ensure successful claiming and rejection resolution

          Managing Proof of Performance/Proof of Execution materials:

           Collaborate with various executing teams to ensure timely delivery of POP/POE materials (at times Marketing Project Specialist will also be responsible for capturing POP/POE)

           Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with internal and external brand guidelines 

           Ensures POP/POE requirements are in the Central Repository by PA/Activity Number where applicable

 Collaboration and Communication:

           Foster strong relationship with internal teams, external vendor partners, and stakeholders 

           Communicate project updates, challenges, and recommendations effectively

Required Skills:

           Leadership: Ability to lead and drive project success with a desire for process improvement and efficiency 

           Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in tracking marketing campaigns with strong organizational management

           Communication: Clearly convey project updates and collaborate effectively 

           Additional Abilities: Multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills                                      

Education and/or Experience:

           Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or related field or 4 years of applicable experience

           Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint 

           Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

           Basic knowledge of financial accounting
