QuickBooks Accountant

Summary

The QuickBooks Accountant will have previous experience working in a CPA firm preferred and provide bookkeeping services. The firm is open to looking at all qualified candidates that have accounting and tax experience. The title is flexible to being a 'Senior QuickBooks Accountant' with 2+ years of experience and the salary is somewhat flexible depending upon experience. This is an 'in office' position with some flexibility. We are a large public accounting firm.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with tax returns for multiple clients (15-30 of various complexity) during tax season
• General ledger, write ups, preparation of books, and records
• QuickBooks Accountant works on sales tax return preparation
• Involvement with month end and year-end closings

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of)
• 2+ years of recent bookkeeping / accounting / month end close experience
• Payroll and Sales Tax return prep experience
• Extensive small and medium business experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Accounting firm experience working on multiple clients preferred
