Information Systems Analyst (On-Site)

Shield HealthCare is looking for an Information Systems Analyst responsible for project deliverables regarding the implementation of companywide/enterprise projects. The position serves as the link between the business units ensuring that system issues, changes, and enhancements are investigated prior to programming.

This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document and analyze current business processes when / where IT change is requested.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as business system process diagrams and training materials.
• Work with business customers to create use cases for software development or IT operational projects.
• Responsible for planning and implementing product testing.
• Responsible for software testing and quality assurance activities.
• Evaluate software for release readiness and report defects to software developers.
• Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders.
• Work with business customers to develop and implement detailed training and change management plans.
• Provide post-go-live warranty support to business customers.
• Make business process change recommendations for improvement (senior level).
• Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion (senior level).
• Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or information science a plus.
• Robust computer proficiency.
• Strong ability to learn and understand business processes, document business process requirements, and interpret them into future technology solutions.
• Brilliant written and verbal communication skills; understands how and when to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Superb relationship management skills.
• Solid presentation skills in front of small groups, including mid- and senior-level management.
• Excellent analytic and organizational skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working in agile development a plus.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) training / certification(s) or equivalent a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed (less than 5% of the time).
