Prizm Electrical Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Site Superintendent to join our team. This position will lead the organization in developing safe, quality, and efficient construction methods. They will ensure project supervision is trained and adhering to standards and consistent project delivery across the nation.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Managing field leaders
  • Ensure safety standards per company Best Practices and OSHA standards are implemented at jobsites
  • Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting electrical plans, specifications, and other project specific technical data
  • Advanced in-depth knowledge of NFPA codes
  • Coordinating and scheduling labor assignments for each week's projects & tasks according to Project Schedules via the Field Leaders and Project Managers
  • Overseeing & implementing project quality standards for the project and ensuring installation Best Practice Systems are being upheld
  • Implement & oversee company training for field personal such as:
    • Foreman Training
    • Safety & Equipment Inspections
    • Coordinate and oversee sub-contractor awareness and expectations of jobsites
  • Oversee & manage company shop area, company tools, and company equipment
  • Implement, monitor, benchmark and enforce standards of production for self-performed work to ensure field personal are operating efficiently & effectively
  • Uphold high customer service standards through personal leadership and managed employees
  • Promote the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as they relate to customers, suppliers, employees, and the public
  • Follow & promote all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the company
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, health & safety laws & ordinances including but not limited to OSHA and DOT
  • The applicant must have both the capability and willingness to undertake tasks falling within their purview.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Must hold a current Journeyman license
  • Post-Secondary Degree (Trade or bachelor's preferred)
  • Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years of valid electrical construction experience
  • The ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and react to these appropriately
  • Maintain valid driver's License
  • Trained & efficient in Microsoft Suites such as Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to eliminate problems amongst staff and adhere to the situational facts while managing field staff problems

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently work on man lifts, ladders and scaffolds.
  • Working environment varies, depending on the type of job. Including, but not limited to natural ambient conditions, confined areas, ditches, or other uncomfortable places.
  • Operates construction equipment, including, forklifts, backhoes, and cargo trucks.
  • Work weeks are typically 58 hours with project specific per diem
  • Project specific travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50-56/hour

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Valid state license that permits you to practice as a journeyman electrician

Work Location: Multiple Locations nationwide
