Job Description
  • Works directly with ALL providers to manage the procedure operations of the practice. Develops and implements tactical work plans to support the goals and objectives of the procedure schedule and analyzes patient flow problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of all procedures and billing.
  • Highly skilled in IV technique/protocol.
  • Functions as a positive role model and resource person.
  • Ensures that all procedure personnel are clinically trained and staffed appropriately. Facilitate daily huddles to ensure that all employees are focused on the needs for the day, identification of any barriers and opportunities to improve the patient experience and work flow.
  • Oversees pre- and post-operative care of patients.
  • Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing orders; verifying receipt; stocking items.
  • Maintains sterilization documents as required for quality indicators (autoclave).
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members to include Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective lead aprons shielding devices and radiation badges.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification from accredited Medical Assistant program
  • CPR Certified
  • A valid driver’s license

Skills

  • Superb verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent patient care experience
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
  • Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment, and the use of MS applications such as Outlook
  • Proficient in the use of EHR systems

  • Ability to travel between multiple clinics up to 25% of the time

PREFERENCES

  • Previous experience in pain management

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
