Job Summary

The Back Office Assistant - LVN is an licensed healthcare professional who performs non-invasive routine technical services under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner in the medical practice setting.

Pay Range

Minimum $29.48 Midpoint $39.04 Maximum $48.61

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Position Details

This is a part time benefitted position supporting our SOCPA Clinics. While the role will primarily work at the Ladera Ranch office, it may require occasional coverage at any of the SOCPA clinic locations.

Experience

* Required: Previous experience or internship in a clinic or medical practice.

* Preferred: Prior experience working in a back office medical practice or clinic. Experience working in a pediatric environment.

Education

* Required: Graduate of a Licensed/Vocational Nursing Program.

Specialized Skills

* Required: Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations, effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems, role model positive and professional behavior.

* Preferred: Bilingual in English/ Spanish.

Licensure

* Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Licensed Vocational Nurse – CA (LVN).

* Preferred: First Aide Certification
