Parts Manager

Environmental Products Group is a best-in-class municipal and infrastructure equipment distributor with multiple locations in the Southeast. This is an opportunity to join a growing team within our amazing company. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our Parts team. We are currently looking for an experienced Parts Manager. This individual should be self-motivated and dedicated, with skills tailored toward multitasking, organized and have attention to detail.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts for our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of parts

- Order parts from suppliers and negotiate pricing

- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions

- Oversee the distribution of parts to technicians and customers

- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste

- Train and supervise parts department staff

- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse

- Oversee cycle counts

Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in parts management or a related field

Office Hours: Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm

Requirements:

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of heavy equipment parts and industry trends a plus

- Firm understanding of parts distribution.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent
