Details:
IT Infrastructure Manager
Duration: Direct Hire/Full time
Location: Stafford TX - Remote - Occasionally onsite
Description of Duties
Client needs a Sr-level IT Infrastructure Manager. This is a hybrid type of role as the client needs this person to be 65% managerial/leadership and 35% hands-on.
The ideal person needs someone who has led small teams, anywhere from 5-8 people. Client needs this person to be able to take ownership. No hand holding here. This person must have leadership and ownership presence, while not being afraid to jump in and roll up their sleeves. Client is a heavy Linux shop, having 225 Linux Servers and only 6 Microsoft Servers, so someone with a heavy Linux background is required.
This person must have a strong technical background in addition to having experience with managing a budget, building a team, planning, building road maps, leading.
