Job Description

Join our team as an Assistant Property Manager and become an integral part of a dynamic and thriving property management company. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Property Manager and General Manager to oversee and enhance the operations of our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Contribute to the preparation of financial and management reports, monitor collections, and coordinate default proceedings. Assist in monitoring operating expenses and capital budgets, administering operating expense recoveries, and conducting due diligence.
  • Relationship Management: Effectively manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive and productive collaborations.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare various reports, proposals, and presentations to support decision-making processes and communication with stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of a 5-year capital plan alongside maintenance staff, ensuring long-term sustainability and efficiency.
  • Tenant Satisfaction: Engage in the Customer Service Tenant Satisfaction survey process, striving to continually improve tenant experiences.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee facility operations including maintenance programs, vendor contracts, building inspections, construction administration, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lease Administration: Coordinate with Property Manager/General Manager on lease administration functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Housekeeping and Janitorial: Supervise and oversee housekeeping and janitorial efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform all necessary administrative and operational tasks to support smooth property operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Experience: 1-3 years of practical experience in real estate management.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices, preferably in real estate.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Judgment: Ability to exercise sound judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, with excellent multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with medical office buildings.
  • Bachelor's degree.

The hourly rate offered for this position takes into account various factors such as experience and location, beginning at $27 per hour.
