Contract Shift Supervisor

Our Retail stores offer same day hair delivery & beauty supply along with 24 hour hair vending machines to meet client’s needs at any time of the day. Our retail store prides itself on providing outstanding customer satisfaction and being a staple of excellence within the community.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

As an Shift Supervisor your duty is to oversee the daily operations of our store. You will be the one to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs. The ideal Shift Supervisor will have experience as a store manager and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing etc. An effective Shift Supervisor will also be able to motivate Sales Associates to perform according to their maximum capacity. The goal is to manage our store in ways that boost revenues and develop the business. Also to uphold the overall integrity of the store and perform duties assigned by the owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
• Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to Sales Associates
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
• Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
• Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
• Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
• Maintains overall organization and recovery standards for the sales floor; participates in cleanliness of the entire store
• Provides and accepts ongoing constructive feedback to sales staff
• Participates in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environment
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures programs
• Performs duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Embrace new technology and change with high level of accuracy
• Self-accountability for sales results through use of selling skills and a drive to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (both Oral and Written)
• Self-Motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment

Contractor (1099):

A 1099 employee doesn’t receive benefits or have taxes deducted from their paycheck. At the end of the year, contractors will receive a 1099-NEC tax form. A 1099-NEC lists how much money an independent contractor earned and this information is used to pay taxes on that income. All contractors are responsible for filling their taxes. Business owner reserves all rights to end contract at their leisure.
