Job Summary:

The Exam Management Analyst must have significant working knowledge in the areas of regulatory compliance, insurer/guarantor guidelines, client contractual agreements, Servbank policies & procedures and risk tolerance. The position is expected to have operational knowledge in all servicing systems, third party systems for insurers, investors, guarantors, affiliated service providers and document delivery systems. Operational understanding in all areas of servicing and business operations.

This position is responsible for:

· Cataloging received Exams and updating statuses through duration

· Scheduling deliverables

· Providing known and approved responses where and when applicable without lines of business (LOB) input

· Obtaining requested information/documentation

· Assigning responsible LOBs when necessary

· Reviewing responses prior to delivery and escalating when necessary

· Assisting LOBs in response improvement and consistency

· Coordinating timely delivery of responses for Exams

· Setup internal and or external meetings as required including onsite visits

The position must assure Servbank is maintaining compliance with all required guidance as well as identifying any necessary updates and changes to processes and controls and completion of corrective action plans timely.

This position will be required to provide necessary report results regarding the testing, risks associated with the actions, curative actions necessary to cure any defects identified and the timelines for curative action implementation. The candidate may be required to communicate these results to auditors, regulators, clients, senior management and the three lines of defense. They must possess the skills to provide the information in a complete and professional manner internally and externally.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain significant working knowledge of regulatory compliance and insurer/guarantor guidelines related to the mortgage industry.

· Stay abreast of client contractual agreements and Servbank polices & procedures and risk tolerance as appropriate.

· All trainings must be completed timely in adherence to company directives.

· Coordinate external reviews, monitor internal controls, as well as assist Servicing Risk Department staff and other department members with the coordination of internal and external audits performed on by thirds parties.

· Reviews responses received from internal lines of business for accuracy, adherence to necessary guidance and completeness of response prior to delivery.

· Coordinate delivery method to primary or requested third party(ies) and provide timely. As necessary request any available extension for delivery.

· Ensure all necessary approvals and disclosures are in place prior to delivery of any sensitive information.

· Enters corrective action plans in Issues Management tracking system as required.

· Monitors the implementation of corrective action plans with all lines of defense and lines of business, presenting updates to the findings as necessary.

· Evaluate and identify risks of key control deficiencies and effectiveness of overall control framework, and ensure management has effective and timely control remediation plans.

· Engage appropriate Legal and Compliance departments for review, approval, and opinions on risk impact, mitigation, and remediation when necessary.

· Source, analyze, coordinate, combine and report Exam data from multiple sources.

· Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

· Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and demonstrate organizational skills, thorough attention to detail, project management, proactivity, understanding of escalation criticality and team building skill.

· Must have strong analytical and investigative skills, exercise sound judgment and observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling sensitive materials.


Education and Experience:

· High School Degree or equivalent required, BA/BS in Business Administration/Finance preferred or equivalent mortgage banking operations knowledge.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage banking or mortgage servicing with emphasis in Compliance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Internal Audit.

· Prior experience working with Loan Servicing Systems, particularly MSP and compliance testing systems a plus.

· Fraud Investigations or broad Mortgage Servicing experience is preferred.

· Knowledge of laws, government regulations, and agency rules; specifically, but not limited to: BSA/AML, FASB, Sarbanes-Oxley, RESPA, TILA, UDAAP, FDCPA, COSO and the CFPB as well as investor, insurer, and guarantor guidelines (EG: FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, FHA, RHS, VA, etc.).


Report generation, data analytics, Microsoft Office, Business Objects, and other data manipulation experience. Report writing for management presentation.
