Position Title: Account Director

Department: Sales

Position Summary:

Initiates, establishes, and nurtures business relationships with community to meet and exceed assigned goals for overall customer experience and reputation. Executes sales strategy, initiates contact with existing and potential customers, identifies needs and sells appropriate services to meet those needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide local account support to a key corporate account relationship. Receive leads from established high-volume account and perform in-home visits and deliver project estimates.
  • Works with potential clients to understand business issues. Formulates and presents solutions to address their concerns. Evolve solutions by preplanning, engaging, uncovering needs, creating interest, providing solutions, and taking action to meet client needs. Maintains effective follow up to ensure sales closure and client care management.
  • Manages WayForth sales and project activities. Assigns responsibilities and objectives to project team. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop, implement and manage programs.
  • Initiates, establishes, and nurtures business relationship with key account. Tracks sales opportunities to completion with an understanding of meeting sales quotas.
  • Coordinates service offerings by establishing sales market, quotas, and goals and advises suppliers, alliances, and clients concerning solution techniques.
  • Develops relationships with key personnel at client account, with frequent communication and progress reporting relative to lead and project status of referrals.
  • Prepares project plan updates and results to management.
  • Responsible for sales funnel/pipeline forecast analysis leading to quota realization. Prepares sales reports showing sales volume and sales forecasts.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable behavior from project implementation.
  • Develops, delivers, and conducts seminars/presentations instructing, advising and guiding attendees on WayForth service offerings and principles with the most effective presentation package.
  • Develop project plans based on sales strategy and client needs. Gain support from operations for project plans. Work in conjunction with Operations management to resource and implement projects. Articulate project plan purpose to reach consensus. Liaison between multiple roles within the company, such as sales, project management and implementation.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine creative ways of addressing customer needs, volume potential, and pricing plans.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge and relevancy by attending educational workshops; staying current with online industry blogs and posts: reviewing professional publications; establishing networking connections and participating in professional societies.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Account Director, keeping them apprised of local happenings with account relationship and to execute account strategy.
