Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Facilities Manager to join our team. The Facilities Manager will be in charge of overseeing all properties ensuring that it is well-maintained and kept safe for both employees and visitors. The Facilities Manager will also have the opportunity to work closely with all departments helping to implement new initiatives across our company as well as offering input on expanding facilities for future growth.

Responsibilities include:

Maintains up to date records for all state, federal, and local licenses and inspections and maintains systems in compliance with local and state regulatory bodies associated to all facility related requirements, i.e. waste water, building permits, fire inspections.

Maintain and manage all facility support infrastructure and vendors including but not limited to electricians, HVAC techs, CO2, compressed air, etc. Prioritize issues that immediately impact employee/food quality safety.

Oversight of all landscaping needs including green spaces, seasonal upkeep (shoveling, leaf blowing) and assuring clear safe employee walkways.

Maintenance and upkeep of all employee parking areas to include security, lighting and overall safety.

Oversight and maintenance of Waster Water treatment area.

Manage repairs and maintenance of all interior general contract work including but not limited to lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and general electrical.

Management of pest control vendor.

Supervisor janitorial services across two shifts.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety, environment and risk management policies and procedures that relate to the site/s.

Manage repairs and maintenance, minor works and other requests, tracking to completion. Lead projects for small scale construction activities.

Accurately record maintenance logs and share with owners.

Serve as main point of contact for service technicians, staff for all building repairs and maintenance. Provide effective communication to all groups on status of projects.

Manage vendor performance ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to agreed standards. Document and escalate instances of poor performance.

Proactively develop and manage vendor relationships, ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.

Achieve or exceed financial targets and ensure effective, efficient and economic operation of assigned responsibilities.

Ensure that operational expenditure for the site/s is managed within agreed budgets and identify efficiencies where possible.

Help to develop and approve the annual capital plan for each building, interfacing closely with the Controller.

Lead, manage, develop and supervise a professional friendly, creative, energetic, and detail oriented team in the delivery of service excellence.

Act as lead on sustainability projects.

Identify opportunities for improved operation to drive efficiencies (process and cost) and make recommendations to the area.
