JOB SUMMARY
As a Tool & Die Maker in Racine, Wisconsin, you will: maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, die components, and tooling used in the production process; utilize manual and CNC equipment and tool room machinery; maintain stamping dies of all types, die components and production tooling, and troubleshoot dies in press; install and adjust die and tooling components as necessary; produce parts to print tolerances; maintain production tooling within quality standards; communicate effectively with operators, set-up personnel, and supervisors regarding tooling requirements; complete all required paperwork, quality records, and documents, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • State-indentured Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship or 10 years equivalent experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and safely operate all tool room machinery required
  • Modern press punch experience preferred
  • Transfer and/or progressive die knowledge a plus
  • CNC experience a plus
