ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) practice has experienced tremendous growth and has an opportunity for a Business Growth, Transition and Exit Strategies Advisor. This role will provide guidance on ownership transition, buy and sell side M&A advisory services, leadership development, talent retention and incentive compensation strategy. The Advisor will work directly with clients and lead business development initiatives to build a practice that enhances and compliments our current offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as an Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry expert.
  • Develop buy-side and sell-side Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) engagements.
  • Assist clients with ownership and leadership transition, succession planning and exit strategies.
  • Identify, assess and pursue new business.
  • Manage and grow existing client base.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role working directly with clients.
  • AEC industry knowledge highly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial drive.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects related to M&A transactions.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $130,000 to $180,000 based on the individual's experience level.
