Enterprise Delivery Operations Engineer

Blue Rose is seeking an Enterprise Delivery Operations Engineer to support our work with a federal client. This is a Remote position and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance (Full Clearance required to start).

In this role you will:

• Apply deep industry knowledge, differentiated points-of-view and rigorous analytics to shape innovative and pragmatic value propositions, business strategies, operating models and Accenture services that lead to large-scale transformation
• Design and implement virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enable template management.
• Install operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes
• Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues
• Provide technical support and documenting VMware processes
• Install or upgrade Windows systems and servers
• Provide technical support for staff and back-end system users
• Add and remove new users, add network drives, update security software, and grant new user access(es) to shared files
• Perform installation and basic host configuration of Linux systems and servers
• Provide fundamental technical support and guidance for Linux system maintenance, to include: Linux system performance monitoring and Linux system security
• Assess the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems in a virtual environment
• Install or upgrade Windows systems and servers
• Monitor performance of database systems resources and query throughput
• Monitor and maintain database storage resources
• Maintain database documentation as required
• Troubleshoot and resolve database [basic] connectivity
• Proactively monitor and respond to Microsoft SQL database alerts

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in VMware Architecture and Design
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in AWS Administration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft PowerShell
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cybersecurity Operations
• 1+ years of experience working within a virtualized server and application environment, such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, AWS, or similar
• Experience designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management
• 1+ years of demonstrated basic proficiency with PowerShell scripting
• 1+ years of experience with the Linux OS [graphical user interface (GUI) and command line interface (CLI)], preferably experience with Red Hat v8.0
• 1+ years of experience [fundamental to proficient knowledge] with Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Server Roles, Access Rights and Security Groups
• 1+ years of experience with COTS cybersecurity technologies. Examples: Splunk, Tenable, ForeScout, McAfee ePO, ServiceNow, SailPoint, CyberArk, SCCM and BigFix
• 1+ years of experience or basic familiarity with Specialized cybersecurity technologies
• Conceptual and hands-on experience performing security tool implementations, upgrades, and monitoring within an Information Security Program
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and bug tracking applications such as JIRA, ServiceNow or similar technologies

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2 to 4 years’ experience in Information Technology/Information Security, or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000
