In order for PCMS to maintain the highest level of quality in our cleaning, we have the need to hire an additional Quality Control Coordinator. This very important position will be vital in maintaining cleaning consistent across the board. The quality coordinator will examine PCMS current quality control program. After examining the current program, the QCC will offer ideas and suggestions that will strengthen our QC program. The QCC will be responsible for maintaining PCMS quality standards in each facility PCMS cleans. The QCC will ensure each quality report that is submitted matches the condition of each facility. The QCC will ensure each location has a quality control report that is applicable to each facility. The QCC will also review the reports daily to ensure they are filled out accurately. After each inspection, the QCC will provide a summary of deficiencies. During this documentation phase the QCC will identify what caused the deficiency. The QCC will reinspect each facility to ensure all deficiencies are repaired.
Safety Coordinator will ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. As a Safety Coordinator you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. You will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. Safety Coordinator will work with and through management, to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures and to assist in the achievement of profitability/productivity requirements. The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Onsite inspections (This will be done in the a.m. before the customer opens or at the end of the night when cleaning is complete).
- Daytime cleaning will be inspected in real time by the QCM.
- Inspect after construction cleans, terminal cleans, and special cleans.
- Examine all inspection reports daily.
- Work with L&D to get all electronic inspections done.
- Work with L&D to examine the use of MITC reports. E. Ensure Best practice (Profitable Action) is being used for PCMS.
- Ensure data is prepared each week for Operations for all inspections.
- Track all deficiencies. This will ensure we are not making the same mistakes over and over.
- Ensure all facilities are being inspected using the president’s schedules.
- Inspect new hires cleaning while they are still in their initial training period.
- Hold meetings to discuss quality in the following areas: Corporate Managers and all facilities.
- Work with our customers to ensure we are meeting their quality needs.
- Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
- Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
- Plans and implements training for employees on work site safety practices.
- PCMS Hazardous Communication and Standards
- Maintains safety files and records (Workers’ Comp, Employee Injury Files, Etc.)
- Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer knowledge of MS Office Products
- Ability to create spread sheets for reports.
- Ability to stand for a length of time.
- Ability to bend, squat, push, pull, and lift.
- Learn and know all PCMS cleaning techniques, products, and principles.
- Must have flexible availability. Must be able to work some nights at his or her assigned facilities that are delegated by the Corporate Office.
- Having worked in the Janitorial Industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related study is a plus.
- Previous experience in Quality control is a plus.
