Interim Director of Quality & Patient Safety

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director of Quality & Patient Safety for a 40+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include daily operation of Quality department including patient safety, med staff services, peer review, infection prevention, compliance, and mentoring of staff.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in Quality leadership within an acute care setting.
- Licensure: State of CA RN required
- Certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other relevant certification preferred
- Computer Skills: Epic
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
