Dining Services Assistant Manager
The Dining Services Assistant Manager supports and serves as back-up to Dining Services Manager in the planning, development, and implementation of all menus and dining experiences, ensuring a high standard of food quality, presentation, and service for both FFTS community events and TSC retreatants.

The Dining Services Assistant Manager supports and serves as back-up to Dining Services Manager in the planning, development, and implementation of all menus and dining experiences, ensuring a high standard of food quality, presentation, and service for both FFTS community events and TSC retreatants.
Summary of Duties:
- Assists with maintaining dining services budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost control, to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- May assist in training & development and supervises dining service staff in absence of Dining Services Manager.
- Fosters and upholds a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Assists with maintaining OSHA kitchen compliance & Food Rescue compliance logs.
- Secures the best quality products and services at the most cost-effective prices.
- Assists with cooking and coordinating food rescue services for community events, and TSC retreatants, to include tailoring menus, and services to meet specific dietary needs as applicable.
- Other duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
- A high school diploma, with continued education paths including hospitality, business, and or culinary arts.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- 2 years minimum of successfully managing a kitchen.
- Must be Serve Safe Certified or become certified within 30 days.
- Ability to motivate, train and develop staff.
- Ability to maintain staff schedules.
- Maintain food & accessory budget, and inventory.
- Excellent customer service experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Carry and load goods in and out of trucks.
- Stand for extended periods at a time.
- Work outside in a variety of weather.
