Job Description

The Lead Campus Specialist (LCS) reports to the Director of Quest Kids and the Campus Director. The purpose of the Quest Kids LCS is to oversee the coordination of the Sunday QK volunteer team, which includes recruiting, initial training, and maintaining the volunteer team. They also assist the Campus Site Director in managing the operations of the children's classrooms, creating and maintaining an appropriate learning environment for the children. The LCS also supports the enforcement of established policies and procedures for children's development and safety during the weekend services and assist with the administration, training, and scheduling coordination of the volunteer staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contact and recruit potential team members
Be the primary point of contact for assigned QK leaders’ team on Sundays
Oversee assigned QK leaders’ team
Attend and contribute to meetings for Quest Kids
Empower and encourage team members to minister effectively in their areas of strength/gifting
Assist in scheduling team members and finding substitutes when necessary
Ensure all procedures and policies are enforced: team member/child ratios and ensure staff is deployed to carry out effective classroom management and safety guidelines
Supervise volunteer leaders and children, conduct regular staff assessments, recognize training needs, monitor and develop teamwork
Assist Campus Director in the up-keeping of the classrooms, including closet upkeep, taking inventory of materials, restocking materials, and making necessary recommendations to the Facilities Department.
Manage volunteer appreciation and provide a personal touch to all team members across both campuses using all forms of communication
Lead VIP Huddles before all Sunday service and assigned QK events
Be knowledgeable of curriculum format and its models of application
Provide performance assessment of volunteers in assigned group
Monitor and keep records of accidents, incidents, and risk assessment
Promote partnerships between volunteers, staff, and parents
