PL Folding Packer (2nd Shift)

POSITION PURPOSE:
The PL Folding Packer position is responsible for product quality, loading, packing, and machine paperwork.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
read and understand production control records
make quality decisions based on information provided
recognize the basic functions of all scanning equipment
load/pack on all finishing equipment
communicate well with operators and team
assist operator as needed
assist on other machines or departments while current machines are under repair
demonstrate positive/professional teamwork abilities
maintain optimum production levels and minimize downtime
maintain/apply all safety and clearance guidelines
concentrate on loading machines and/or packing product properly
keep work areas clean
other tasks/duties as assigned by manager or lead operator
Position Qualifications:
basic math and measurement skills
basic ability to communicate in English
flexible schedule according to customer needs (some weekends required)
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. maximum
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (4-8 hours)
