JOB SUMMARY:

An Event Technician is responsible for setting up and operating basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Uses daily cover sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike.
Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and strike of basic audiovisual equipment.
Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with the Hotel account.
Maintain positive employee relations.
Effectively utilize the company’s business software.
Ensure client billing is completed accurately and on time.
Manage onsite inventory according to company standards.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
A high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self and company.
Strong attention to detail.
Some computer skills required.
Ability to work on a Smoke-Free campus.
Strong desire to learn.
