Job Description

Local CPA firm seeking experienced Tax Manager.

Join our team of professionals who strive to provide prompt, courteous, high quality accounting service to our clients.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, including reviewing tax returns, researching tax issues, and tax planning, as well as development and management of staff accountants. Tax Manager would be involved in some compilations and reviews, and would represent clients before tax authorities as needed.

Must have active CPA license. Bachelor's Degree required, MST a plus.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Strong accounting skills. Five to seven years experience working in public accounting. Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. Advanced computer skills - Lacerte, QuickBooks and Office products a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Ability to work with people of all races, economic and educational backgrounds. Positive attitude.

Firm is located in Downtown Sacramento. Free parking is available.

Salary negotiable, commensurate with experience.
