Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager in overseeing commercial electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the PM with budget, pricing and walk-throughs.

- Generate and process RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders.

- Review all project related documents including Drawings, Submittals, Specifications, Field Reports and RFIs.

- Attend weekly construction and/or estimating meetings and record accurate notes.

- Assist PM with customer communication and interactions while developing an excellent working relationship with General Contractors, Architects, Engineers and, other external team members affiliated with the project.

- Perform estimating assignments as required.

Qualifications:

Construction Management or Business Degree preferred.

-Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to learn and interpret construction drawings/blueprints.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PDF and Bluebeam.
