We are looking for an enthusiastic Technology Services Broker (TSB) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will have to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the industry knowledge in the “As A Service” products and services. Consult with clients on advanced technologies and the consumption models that drive business outcomes. This position is in for the UTAH market.


As a Technology Services Broker you will also be a sales overlay that collaborates with members of both the Syringa Territory Account Executives and Supplier/ Provider partners to create and execute account plans that drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience working with customers to identify their needs and align solutions to solve challenges. They must be able to effectively communicate the features and benefits of products and services, as well as overcome objections. This position requires excellent time management and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently.


To ensure success in this role, the applicant should have a proven knowledge of IT, Network, Security, Compliance, and Application Development operations. This includes the base level understanding of corresponding technologies and frameworks that clients leverage to provide service levels to the business. A passion for solving problems for the client is critical. The Technology Services Broker drives business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the options and empowering them to make the right choice of products and services that meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Source New Customers.
  • Provide overlay brokering services to existing Syringa Networks clients in partnership with Core sales.
  • Help in supporting client and vendor relationships.
  • Must be able to thrive in a modern work environment. This does include potential travel to clients and partner sites and the ability to be a remote worker.
  • Coordinating technical demonstrations of “as-a-service” offerings.
  • Advising clients about the “as-a-service” market in multiple technology domains.
  • Aid in composing comparison matrices based on features and requirements. Aid in the creation of vendor score cards that can be included in RFI (Request for Information) and RFP campaigns on the client’s behalf to source technology or services to meet their desired business outcomes.
  • Consult and help clients source complex multi-technology, multi-vendor projects.
  • Reviewing contracts; NDA, MSA’s, Order forms.
  • Attending educational training courses and industry seminars.
  • Meeting sales targets through business planning and execution.
Requirements:
  • A degree in business administration or Industry equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in sales, engineering and executive leadership in business or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of the “as-a-service” and technology broker market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft modern work suite (Power BI), Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot).
  • Ability to meet sales and service targets.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to effectively and productively work remotely as needed.
