Associate Director, Commercial Finance

Green House is looking to bring on an Associate Director of Commercial Finance to expand and deepen our expertise in direct client financial engagement, strategic negotiating, and revenue optimization. 

The Role:
As our Associate Director of Commercial Finance, you’ll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating the financial strategy that fuels our creative fire. You’ll dive deep into the numbers, crunching data with finesse while also bringing a fresh perspective to the table. You will report to the VP of Finance and will lead a team of 1-2 direct reports to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow enhancement, profitability growth strategies, and financial reporting for the commercial operations of the company. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Institute and evolve a process for monthly commercial planning and support long-term revenue strategies.
• Provide reporting and dashboards to enhance business intelligence and streamline executive data flows.
• Standardize a process to review and audit all client pricing and proposals.
• Own all future MSA negotiations, involving key stakeholders as required throughout the process.
• Provide monthly forecast updates with gap analysis, and strategic guidance to close gaps/mitigate risk/reduce costs (client and internal).
• Collaborate with our creative minds to bring bold ideas to life, including continuously identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, ensure alignment on financial objectives, facilitate seamless project execution, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience.
• Contribute to all areas of the financial management funnel, including business planning, revenue forecasting, SOW review and preparation, billing validation, open AR review/follow-up, WIP reporting, job structure management, and cashflow maintenance.
• Systems Disclosure: Green House is currently adopting a new ERP system. You will be expected to measure, pressure test, and evolve this tool over your tenure to continue moving Green House toward an efficient and scalable solutions-oriented business. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Financial and Analytical Expertise: You have a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 8 years of financial planning and analysis experience in a marketing agency environment. Also,
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting required.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and MS Excel required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders required.
  • FP&A Certified is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Monday.com & NetSuite is a plus, but not required.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You’re an excellent communicator who can distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights and has experience with client-facing negotiating and presentations.
