As a Business Finance Manager for the Region US, you will be leading the business finance tasks towards the business and regional management team. You will be leading the monthly reporting process by ensuring high quality of the financial data, and provide financial and commercial insights. You will also be leading the financial planning process for the region, and you will act as navigator for your stakeholders and provide them with financial projections.

For you to successfully deliver on core deliverables, it is crucial that you build a strong relationship with line of business and the regional management team to understand how the business is evolving and where to strategically improve. Moreover, you will also work closely together with the accounting team located in the US and the finance departments placed in the headquarters located in Copenhagen, DK.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the monthly closing set-up from a reporting perspective
  • Gather commercial insights, flag risks and opportunities to further enhance the business performance
  • Be the lead on financial planning for Region US
  • Deliver financial and commercial analysis to drive recommendations and decision-making
  • Further develop the strategic direction together with the regional management team


Relationships

Overall, you will have various touch points where your success criteria are to develop a strong relationship with your stakeholders. You will work closely with US Region Sr. VP, Sales and Operation Teams. As well as reporting to Leadership located in Copenhagen, DK.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The right profile for this job is a skillful Business Finance Manager with a strong commercial mindset and financial acumen. You are structured, but also pragmatic in your way of thinking.

  • Self-motivated
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience from a larger corporation (preferably a stock listed company)
  • Have flair for stakeholder management
  • Have a strong business acumen where you quickly can understand the situation and complication
  • Possess a strong financial planning and reporting toolbox
  • To act responsibly and meet deadlines, even when busy. You are a team player, you have a sense of quality and you are thorough in your performance
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft D365
  • Master's Degree in Accounting with preferred Key Concentration in Managerial/Corporate Accounting or similar experience
  • CPA preferred

Preferred Skills

  • PowerPoint Intermediate to Advanced level
  • Proficient in all O365 software
  • Excel Advanced level
